When I was little, I used to get these all of the time whenever my family went to Frankenmuth. They have lots of candy shops there, so it was never a problem.

Last time we went, something reminded me of them and I went on a huge search for some. None of the old shops carry them anymore. In fact, I think the last place that I saw them was at FYE by the Pocky display---but at the time it looked like a limited time thing.

So I'm kind of sad about this now. I guess I'm just going to have to keep my eyes open. It's kind of horrible when you start craving Japanese snacks, and you don't live in Japan. Woe is me.

In other news, I'm about to go get in the shower. Gonna head over to Mandy's house today. Whoo.

Oh, and I didn't think that the new Transformers movie was all that bad. I keep reading that people didn't like it, and I find it kind of odd. Maybe it helps that I was raised on them as a child, and still have a bunch of my old toys in the garage somewhere. I dunno. I guess I just kind of liked how fast-paced and intense it was. There weren't any breaks in the action all the way to the end. It was kind of nice.
