Forcing the Pain Away
2009-08-13, 9:51 a.m.

Thank you to those of you who have showed concerned for me. I really appreciate it. You guys are awesome!

I'm going to do everything in my power to post only positive things today. I'm trying really hard to put on a smile, so I'm going to try to find every good thing that I can---even if it's small and trivial.

First of all, I'm happy because I FINALLY found a download of Gokusen 2 that has English subtitles. I was actually squealing like a little teeny bopper when I found it. It's HD quality too! So now I get to bask in 10 hours of Akame hotness. Hallelujah. I'm burning it onto DVD's as I type this!

I've also been downloading the likes of Anego, Yuuki (which is probably the saddest movie I have EVER seen), and Yu-kan Club. If I could find a download of Tatta Hitotsu no Koi with subtitles I'd be thrilled. (I really don't want to have to buy it because CDJapan is too expensive, and everything on eBay is from Malaysia. Meaning, it'll take forever to get here, and I can't guarantee it being in one piece.)

So yes, lots of Akame love. Don't know why I'm gravitating towards those two, but I'm all for anything that helps.

Yesterday I actually went out and had dinner with my family. It had been a really long time since I'd done it. It was actually quite nice, and they didn't drive me insane. I guess it helps that they know how stressed out I am right now.

Speaking of stresses, I had a long heart to heart with Evil Boss yesterday. We talked about my illness, and what it does to me. We talked about music, and found out that we like a lot of the same bands. It was kind of strange, but he's been being really nice to me. He even told me that I was doing a "tremendous" job. Huh. Imagine that. I suppose I just had to prove myself to him. I'm never really keen on doing that, but if it worked, then I'm happy.

Today at around 5pm my Great Uncle is flying in from Georgia to visit with my Grandma (who's his older sister). So that should be interesting. He came last year too. I'm really glad that he is though, because neither of them are in the best of health, and they're both in their late 80's. It'll be good for them.

There's a car cruise going on downtown this weekend. I'll probably go with my parents on Saturday to wander around for a while. I love old Corvettes, and Trans Ams, and Camaros, and Mustangs... Yeah. That's going to be pretty cool. I'll have to take some photos.

Hmmm...

Yesterday was LM.C's 3rd anniversary! Whoo! Maya and Aiji both posted blogs about it and it made me smile. Ha ha. I guess the new layout was kind of fitting then. :P

I should be getting some of my GazettE merch in the mail this week, if not some of it today. I've been stalking the mailman like crazy. Yes, I'm a dork. We established that a long time ago.

All right. I feel a little bit better now. Now I just need to get myself dressed and go eat something. I hope you guys all have a good day! <3 <3 <3
